As for minors, as guests they could only drink if accompanied by a spouse over 21, a guardian, or parent. Giving it to a minor under other circumstances would be a criminal act - guest or not. If the minor stole the alcohol the resident would not be responsible unless he knew, or had reason to know, the thft and use was in progress before the minor left the residence.Ken Lammershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15646250142814585354noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4098620.post-39095590139801926402013-01-12T13:40:24.662-05:002013-01-12T13:40:24.662-05:00I have two questions: 1. What if the guest is a minor, in which case the alcohol at the residence wasn't actually purchased for the minor, but consumed by the minor?Michaelhttp://legalcareerpath.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4098620.post-41732462410097889302013-01-11T15:55:22.959-05:002013-01-11T15:55:22.959-05:00Open container 18.2-323.1 passengers can drink but...Open container 18.2-323.1 passengers can drink but not driverAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
