Police in the Law:
(1) Governor Warner
is going to make sure that no racial profiling exists. My experience has been that profiling does exist but it's more complex than being based on just color. You can be white, hispanic, asian, black or martian green and if you look like you are a staid, conservative, rich bank vice-president the officer is going to put a lot more thought into it before he pulls you over. On the other hand, if you are a young male or poor person of any shade . . .
(2) In Miami a federal judge is
upholding the convictions of some officers and allowing the retrial of others for covering up shootings.
