Homicide rates:

Chicago's homicide rate dropped to 599 (down 49 and the first time under 600 since 1967) but it still had the highest rate in the U.S. Meanwhile, Philadelphia's rate went up 20% from 288 to 347.

The city with the highest per capita homicide rate is, yet again, Gary, Indiana. Unless you are an absolutely maniacal Music Man fan, why would you live in that city?
