Jury Nullification

As anyone who has read this blawg for longer than two weeks knows, I am not one of those that thinks the application of the jurors' prejudices to a case is the universal panacea that others believe.

Of course the whole reason we have jury trials is because the Founding Fathers loved it that juries were nullifying the Navigation Acts prior to the Revolution...and were ticked off when the Crown and Parliament took away the right to jury for alleged violations of those acts!
