Richmond is going to charge you to go to jail:
"The city has also made it more expensive for people who can't keep their noses clean.
Get convicted of a crime in the city, and you'll have to pay a new $5 fee. It now costs $25 in fees to go to City Jail."
It almost goes without saying that this will rarely be enforceable; I hope Richmond isn't counting on too much money from this source.
