Virginia's new anti-abortion criminal statute didn't even make it thru an entire day. It looks like an interesting case. There has been what appears to be a manipulation of the system by the plaintiffs (to get the judge they wanted). When that failed a new judge was appointed. Not that it helped Virginia. Without hearing the case, the judge has already indicated he expects to find the law unconstitutional. When the Attorney General's office asked for 120 days to prepare for trial the judge replied "
I don't know why you need 120 days for a no-brain case like this."
