1) A two-year operation involving Chinese mainland, Taiwan and Thai police forces has smashed a cross-border drug ring, resulting in the arrest of 11 people and the seizing of 57.4 kilograms of heroin.
2) The Lansing Police Department says 14 people -- mostly from the same family -- have been delivering large amounts of heroine and cocaine for nearly four years.
3) In the early 1800s, settlers from western Pennsylvania loaded up their worldly possessions and settled in the fertile valley of the Tuscarawas River.
Two hundred years later, goods are still flowing from western Pennsylvania to this picturesque eastern Ohio city. But the main item of commerce these days is illegal and potentially lethal - heroin.
