Trial By Combat in Montana

For shame, Orin! Deriding a valid trial by combat motion. After all, Montana has adopted the English common law and I can't find a Montana statute getting rid of this part of the common law.

Sounds like somebody's hoping for a Lammers v.s. McKenna cage match...would you get to use the war hammers?

Oh, wait a minute, wasn't there something about Virginia prosecutors being allowed to carry guns?

Heck, I probably wouldn't even get close. The man has a caltrop sitting on the desk of his office. Who knows how many he has stashed away? I'd make a run at him and probably end up on the ground with a dozen puncture wounds in my feet before I got within 20 feet.
