Reading the article, both guys were gun dealers, and the deceased pulled a gun first, and both of these facts have more to do with the no true bill than the Iraq war.
I'm not a lawyer, but I've been on two capital murder juries, once as foreman, and I think I understand how the jurors were deliberating on this.
If all the witnesses agree that the deceased pulled the gun first, then it's justified self defence, isn't it?

How do you know it is that simple? Did you see the same evidence that the grand jury did?
