Ode to the Public Defender

Congtrats to the PD's office in Philadelphia for its successes in defending capital cases.

I'll not comment on the part about court appointed attorneys being lazy and media whores.

Ken - I certainly did not mean to say that all court appointed attorneys were inadequate! On the other hand, given your own commitment to criminal defense, I'm betting you've met your share of appointed attorneys who left you, shall we say, underwhelmed.
