In Canada they are charging people with crimes of speech. Not action, not incitement
- SPEECH.We haven't even gone that far in Virginia. We tried pretty hard with the cross-burning statute but the federal supreme court told us we couldn't do that. We have to prove that the burning is meant to intimidate (which really shouldn't be all that hard in most cases). Still, we've never made pure speech illegal.
