Remember the idiotic Japanese newsman who took a grenade from Iraq as a souvenir and then was charged with murder when it exploded in a Jordanian airport? "[P]rosecutor Col. Mohannad Hijazi replaced the charge against Hiroki Gomi with "unintentional harm," bringing down the sentence, if convicted, from the death penalty to a maximum of 15 years in prison."

Pop quiz:

Which would you prefer 15 years in Red Onion or 15 years in a Jordanian prison?
